Usually, we tell ourselves that Champagne should be served well chilled, between 8 and 10 degrees. But what do we mean by chilled?
Champagne behaves differently depending on the temperature at which it is served!
Served straight from the fridge, only the floral aromas will stand out. Then, as it warms up, the notes of stewed fruit will come through, and it's at this point that you can enjoy it with a meal.
The wine breathes, opens up and becomes rounder...then comes the aromas of gourmet pastries.
So it's up to you to choose the right moment at any time of day or night !!!!
