Champagne wines must be stored under certain conditions, both in the producers' champagne cellars and in your own home, and especially at !!!!!.
The essential conditions for preserving champagne wine:
Champagne is delivered at a stage of perfect ripeness, having already been aged in the cellar by the winemaker when you buy it (it's called Champagne à consommer de suite).
However, it can be kept for several years, as long as the bottle is kept lying down, in a cool place, away from light and draughts (it is then called Champagne de Garde).
The most important thing is to respect :
A low and constant temperature (around 10°C), a high hygrometry (humidity level) and storage sheltered from light, noise and vibrations. (Just the opposite of supermarkets and hypermarkets!!!)
