Henri Abelé is the fifth generation of the Abelé Champagne House 1757founded by his great-great-grandfather Theodore Vanderveken. In 1815the cellar master of Veuve Clicquot-Ponsardin (the name of the house at the time), Antoine de Mullerinvented the shaking table, a method later known as the desk, and now the gyropallet is used mainly by the winegrowers. In 1842Antoine de Muller takes over Champagne House "Muller-Vanderveken", his daughter's wife François Abelégiving birth to Henriand the Champagne House Henri Abelé was created at this time.

Henri Abelélike his grandfather, invented a technique for the well-being of his employees called "dégorgement à la glace", which is a cooling technique used to extract deposits from bottles, despite the difficulties encountered during the two world wars, the second of which forced the brothers to sell their Champagne House. Today, more than 250 years later, the Champagne House Henri Abelé is renamed Abelé 1757 and is now under the champagne brand Nicolas Feuillatte.Etienne Eteneau is currently cellar master at Abelé Champagne House 1757where he oversees the production of some of the finest champagnes. The company focuses on technological advances to constantly improve and innovate in the production of champagnewhile remaining true to the house's traditional style and techniques.
The Abelé Champagne House 1757 selects the best terroirs to produce the finest champagnes quality aromas. It owns numerous plots and crus in different regions, such as the Côte des Blancsthe Reims Mountain and Les Riceys.
