CHAMPAGNE SALON
Champagne Salon is a house of champagne founded in 1920 by Eugène-Aimé Salon à Le Mesnil-sur-Oger on the Côte des Blancs. Previously owned by Pernod-Ricard, it now belongs to Laurent-Perrier since 1988. The house of champagne Salon is headed by Didier Depondjust like the Champagne Delamottehis sister house and neighbor of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Salon is a champagne all about one concept: in the beginning, it was the champagne of a man, Aimé Salon, of a land, the Côte des Blancsof a vintage, Le Mesnil-sur-Ogera grape variety, the Chardonnayand one year, that of a great vintage.

The Champagne Salon was created by a man with a passion for champagnecompletely seduced by the terroir of the Mesnil. With his first vintage in 1905Aimé Salona unique personality, created the champagne of his dreams. He developed this Blanc de Blancs champagne originally for his own personal enjoyment, but only began to share it with the world in the 1920. The champagne comes from a one-hectare plot of land known as theLe Jardin Salon"and 19 other small plots in Le Mesnil-sur-Ogerselected by Aimé Salon in the early 20th century.
