Maison Gosset's Grand Rosé Brut sans étui is a champagne made from a blend of blend of 50% Chardonnay (from Avize) and 50% Pinot Noir, including 8% red wine (from Chouilly, Villers-Marmey, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Verzenay and a few others). Vinification and ageing are carried out on lees to avoid premature oxidation. Malolactic fermentation is carefully avoided to preserve the wines ' naturally fruity aroma and ensure perfect conservation. The red wines of Ambonnay and Bouzy produce a delicately colored rosé with a fruity taste.
To the eye, a soft, flowing, salmon-pink petal color with ruby-cherry highlights.
On the nose, an aroma of strawberries, both fresh and jammy or cooked.
Structured on thepalate, with a constant balance between fresh tension and fruity roundness. It is dominated by the pulpiness of red fruit such as wild strawberry, providing a soft, enveloping sensation. Round on the palate, with a fresh finish.
Maison Gosset's Grand Rosé Brut with case is the perfect accompaniment to foie gras, with its bold combination of fat and sweet around the wine's vinous base. Wild salmon, Tarama, fish tapas, grilled veal or poultry are all perfect matches for this champagne.
