Perrier-Jouët' s Cuvée Blason Rosé without case is a champagne champagne blend made from 25% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Meunier and 50% Pinot Noir, part of which is vinified in red, a blend that requires precision gestures to bring out the elegance characteristic of Perrie-Jouët champagne. The choice of Crus is carefully adjusted according to the profile of the harvest. The addition of around 20% reserve wines creates a balance between the constancy of the Perrier-Jouët style and the effects of the year's climate. The grapes are harvested by hand, alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, and aging is twice as long as required by the appellation.
A fresh, salmon-pink color.
On the nose, pomegranate, red fruit and blood orange give intensity, followed by subtle floral notes. Finally, notes of butter and brioche.
In the mouth, the attack is intense and lively. Rich, with length, character and fullness. Complex, persistent finish.
The freshness of Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé uncorked reveals itself deliciously in raw or semi-cooked salmon or red mullet, while its fullness is a perfect match for fillet of duck or lamb accompanied by red fruits such as cranberries. It also pairs well with a dessert of red berries, white chocolate and vanilla foam.
