The family Moussé, vigneronne depuis 1629 et présente dans la Marne Valley since 1880, a décidé de produire son propre champagne in the 1920. Spécialisée dans le Pinot Meunier cultivé sur un terroir unique de sols d'argile verte dans trois villages différents, la famille Moussé cherche à minimiser son impact environnemental à chaque étape, adoptant des pratiques de vinification peu intrusives.

Jean-Marc Moussé, actuel propriétaire du domaine, a été l'un des premiers à embrasser la durabilité, introduisant des initiatives telles que la culture de couverture, la révision du processus de production, et la transition vers une production ultra-responsable et durable. Depuis 2014, ils ont arrêté l'utilisation de pesticides de synthèse et ont mis en œuvre une série d'initiatives éco-conçues, allant de l'utilisation de bouteilles plus légères à la régulation thermique de la cave.Les pratiques écologiques s'étendent à tous les aspects, de la production d'eau chaude solaire à l'utilisation d'huiles essentielles pour lutter contre les maladies du bois. Vive le champagne Moussé, symbole d'une approche éco-responsable de la viticulture et de la production de champagne !
