Pol Rogerproducer of champagne based in Épernay in the Marne Valley, a été fondé en 1849 par un notaire du même nom, décédé lorsque Pol Roger avait seulement 18 ans. Après avoir débuté à Aÿ-Champagne, la famille s'est établie à Épernay, où le domaine s'est développé. En 1900, les caves et les bâtiments de la Maison de Pol Roger champagne ont été détruits, mais la famille a persévéré. Winston Churchill, amateur de Pol Roger champagne depuis 1908, renforça les liens avec la famille en rencontrant Odette Pol-Roger en 1944. En 1975the cuvée prestige Sir Winston Churchill a été lancée en son honneur.
