The Deutz Champagne House is an area of Champagne founded in 1838 by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, à Aÿ. A vineyard of about 200 hectaresincluding 42 hectares ownedin the vineyards of Champagne with production of seven crus champagne.

William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann came from families in Aachen, Germany. They settled in Champagnein France, in 1830 and in 1838they opened a wine. They bought wines already bottled and were also buying vineyards to produce their own wines. The company has been handed down from generation to generation by the following families Deutz and Geldermann, and came to be known as the Champagne House Deutz.Deutz is a house of champagne acquired in 1983 by Louis Roederer then by the family Rouzaud in 1993also shareholders of champagne Louis Roederer. The house of champagne Deutz has 3 km of caves dug into the chalk of the town ofAÿmore than 20 meters underground. They produce 2.5 million bottles per year and export their champagne in over 40 countries. The company is managed by Fabrice Bastard-Rosset since 2010. The style of the champagne Deutz is characterized by assemblies composed of nearly 80% of grapes from Grands Crus and Premiers Crus.
